Week 15 Final Year Project 2

Date: 9 May 2018

Time: 12.00 p.m

Place: Medical Section Level 5

Objectives:

- To demonstrate my final result and product to my supervisor in order to achieve A in FYP 2 that have my own work of contribution and something different. The own idea and work of integrity in my project to be a good product especially.

Activities:

- Today, I demonstrate my project to my supervisor at medical section level 5 as an evidence that supervisor agreed with what I have achieved. After I was demonstrated, my supervisor told me that I was performed excellently. I had been asked to do the journal about my project and the prototype. This is because my sensors were worked very well and high sensitivity to detect smoke and also gas leakage such as benzene. The small amount of smoke can be detected by the MQ-135 gas sensor within 101-150 of API air quality. So, I was achieved my objectives to improve accuracy and sensitivity of the sensors.

- For the conclusion, the MQ-135 gas sensor is suitable for air quality monitor for sensitive gas such as benzene, alcohol, and smoke. The advantages of this sensor is a very fast response and recovery, have adjustable sensitivity and signal output indicator. The output voltage boots along with the concentration of the measured gases increases. Besides that, it is low cost and suitable for different applications. Basically, the gas sensors have heating purpose inside the sensor which is made up of aluminum oxide and tin dioxide. It has heat coils to produce heat, and thus it is used as a heat sensor.
