Week 5 Final Year Project 2

Date: 21 February 2018

Time: 3.00 p.m

Place: Medical Section Level 5

Objectives:

- To complete the simulation humidity and temperature sensor by using the Proteus and Arduino 1.8.5.

Activities:

- Today, I made the simulation of the humidity and temperature sensor by using the Proteus and Arduino 1.8.5. Here the complete the simulation by changing the temperature and humidity in the Proteus.

- When the temperature was 27.0 *C, the simulation also showed 27.0 *C detected by the temperature and humidity sensor. I can be concluded the simulation accuracy and precision are high to be used in hardware. The humidity also showed 80.00% when the DHT22 detected humidity in 80.00%. Here another result when changing the temperature and humidity.

- The temperature showed 30.0 *C and the humidity was 83% in the simulation when changed the reading of the sensor. So, the simulation showed the exact result what I want to be used in hardware.

Features of the ESP8266:

NodeMCU provide the best platform for IOT application development at the lowest cost.

- NodeMCU is an open-source firmware and development kit that helps to prototype IOT product within a few Lua script lines. The Development Kit based on ESP8266, integrates GPIO, PWM, IIC, 1-Wire and ADC all in one board.

- V3 is a "version" Introduced by producer LoLin to signify minor improvements to the V2 boards.

- LoLin use one of the two reserve pins for USB power out and the other for an additional GND.

- This LoLin board is significantly larger than the Amica and DOIT V2 boards.

- Integrated pcb Antenna and usb port, 4M Flash Memory.
