- As for today, I
have a briefing about the Final Year Project 1 of Semester September 2017 at
the TTL 1 in Universiti Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute. There will be
a briefing on new regulations and implementation for FYP 1 for this semester.
All the students are required to attend this important briefing.
- During the briefing, the FYP coordinator was explained to
us how to write the good thesis and report to get the best marks during the
presentation. For chapter 1 in a thesis, there a few standard outline in
introduction chapter such as:
- To write a good title of the
project. The title must be short and precise, focus on a research topic,
differentiates work from others in the same subject area and avoid
abbreviations and jargon. While for an abstract, is a brief summary of a
research article, thesis, review, conference proceeding and is often used to
help the reader quickly ascertain the purpose of the report.
- Next, chapter 1 (introduction) must give the project a
context or general overview and background. Next, it must explain why the
project is important. Another two is shown below:
