Based on the previous study, MQ - 135 gas sensor is the best sensor to be used for air quality monitoring especially carbon dioxide. The reason for this sensor being chosen to be implemented in this project is due to its characteristics as a highly sensitive gas sensor where main sensing layer is a tin oxide.
